Overview

What is it?

The Bell Media Prime Time TV Program is a full-time, 5 ½ month professional TV writing program for emerging to mid-level Canadian writers. This program is recognized industry-wide for training TV series writers and developing new projects for the marketplace.

The fall 2022 cohort of the program is open to Black, Indigenous and/or racialized writers as a way to celebrate and amplify a diversity of underrepresented voices and stories so they can be seen and heard on screens in Canada and around the world. This cohort will focus specifically on comedy writing, with residents engaging in a collaborative comedy series story room.
