Lore: A Hybrid Card Game

Synopsis

LORE is a digital-physical card game that challenges the stereotypical classification of literary stock characters such as the Damsel in Distress and the Trickster, that often take the form of one-dimensional representations of stereotypical minorities. Players go on a storytelling adventure from the character’s perspective. By creating their own imaginative narratives and embarking on their own hero’s journey; these characters are elevated from secondary stock characters to three-dimensional heroes, each with their own unique tale and culminating in a digitally generated unique portrait translated from the choices that the players made during their gameplay.
