The world is grieving the loss of beloved CFC founder – iconic and award-winning filmmaker Norman Jewison.

Norman will forever be one of the world’s greatest storytellers. He was a champion of Canadian talent, and, made an incredible impact on so many. There simply would be no Canadian Film Centre without him.

Norman was loved by so many for his creative spirit, his infectious energy, his distinct voice, and so much more. His legacy will live on through his timeless films and the countless individuals and organizations he has inspired, and will continue to inspire, for generations to come.
