Show your love of Canadian storytelling at The CFC Gala: Take 35

Toronto, February 14, 2023 – The Canadian Film Centre (CFC) is pleased to announce the return of its annual fundraising gala taking place this year on May 11, 2023 at Rebel in Toronto. Back for the first time since 2020, The CFC Gala: Take 35 will celebrate CFC’s 35th anniversary and will feature more performances, more guest experiences, more entertainment and more celebration of Canadian talent than ever before.

CFC’s annual gala is the organization’s largest fundraising event, raising vital funds to enable full resident scholarships and CFC’s suite of programs across film and television, screen acting, composing and songwriting for the screen and digital and immersive media. The event brings together people from all corners of Canada’s entertainment industry to celebrate Canadian creators and content.

This year’s completely reimagined event includes a cocktail reception and dinner, online auction, as well as a brand new after party, CFC After Dark, where guests will enjoy a high-energy dance party and DJ show. Additional event and performance details will be announced in March; stay tuned for more information about this year’s entertainment lineup, special guests, and more.

In keeping with CFC’s commitment to increase accessibility across all the organization’s programs and offerings, The CFC Gala: Take 35 will offer new and additional opportunities for both companies and individuals to get involved, join the celebrations and show their love for Canadian storytellers and the CFC.
