Slam Dunk, Sehaj!

Synopsis

Sehaj is a South Asian former basketball superstar turned homemaker who scores a rare opportunity to try out for a league and revisit her passion for basketball again. When she surprises her supportive parents at her daughter’s birthday party, they are over the moon, but she is in for a shock when the love of her life, her traditional husband, Manveer, vehemently opposes her return to basketball. She is confronted with the reality of her husband’s changed perspective and expectations, as he tries to suppress her by weighing her down with guilt. Sehaj has to decide whether she will push back to realize her basketball dreams again or relegate herself to the traditional role of a stay-at-home mom, as she also navigates through this unexpected turn in her relationship with her husband.
