CANADIAN FILM CENTRE ALUMNI TAKE CENTRE STAGE ONCE AGAIN AT TIFF

As the world descends on Toronto for the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) is pleased to celebrate the alumni and residents that will showcase their latest works this month, with numerous features and shorts participating in TIFF 2023. Including several world and North American premieres, the CFC alumni-led projects represent some of the buzziest titles at the Festival this year. 

“Every Fall our CFC filmmakers and creators light up the Festival scene with their incredible talent and this year is no different,” said maxine bailey, executive director, CFC. “The creativity that is emerging from CFC gets stronger and bolder every year, and we are immensely proud of this new generation of storytellers.”

CFC residents and alumni were involved in 12 of the Canadian features in this year’s lineup, in addition to five shorts. The full lineup of titles involving CFC talent are listed below:
