What is it?

The Netflix/CFC Global Project features three accelerators that create and advance opportunities for diverse Canadian creators as they work to showcase their talent and narrative film and TV projects internationally.

Program Structure

This program includes three different accelerators – the Calling Card, Marketplace and Project Development accelerators. Support in each accelerator is creator-driven and tailored to the needs of the projects and the participants. All three accelerators support creators who are Black, Indigenous, Racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, living with disabilities and/or women-identifying.

Provides focused support for ‘creators to watch’ to help enhance their produced calling card and showcase their talent and/or proof of concept for their narrative feature film or TV series.

Strengthens a creator’s festival/market preparedness in order to attract and secure international attention and investment for their projects and/or produced content.

Provides enhanced and tailored access to development support for mid-level creators in order to bolster the international reach of their dramatic feature films or TV series.

Eligibility

  • All three accelerators support creators who are Black, Indigenous, Racialized, 2SLGBTQ+, living with disabilities and/or women-identifying
  • Participants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or landed immigrants of Canada

 

Tuition & Fees

There is no cost to apply for or participate in any of the accelerators in the Netflix/CFC Global Project.

Please note that the CFC is not an OSAP-accredited institution.
