Obvious Allegory is a Toronto based media company that focuses on producing made-for-platform movies and short format digital series. We put emphasis on producing within a specific budget range to allow for a more flexible slate, with a creative formula that focuses on human connection, sexuality and the complexity of relationships. Our work is centered on creating content that is based on user generated IP. We seek to develop stories for niche online communities that are built around a variety of subgenres. Using a data backed approach, we identify the stories that are most suitable for screen adaptation and will best serve our intended audiences.
