Synopsis
SHORT FILM PROOF OF CONCEPT Kara, Mickey, and Maeve are three high school seniors and close friends who, after discovering sophomore Bronte was coerced into sex by their teacher, decide to enact revenge.
Creator Bio
Jamy Steele is a writer, director and visual artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Her work often draws inspiration from a near death experience that occurred during heart surgery when she was 22; her work also explores pop culture, propaganda, the sub-concious and liminal states. Jamy’s short film, Love at First-Sight, premiered at the 2018 Canon Student Short Film Festival and was nominated for Best Women’s Short at the Burbank International Festival.
