Synopsis

klooj is a experiment in storytelling using digital media.klooj stories are told using email, in epistolary fashion, through exchanges between the characters. (In the future other communications tools such as chat or instant messaging will be used.)klooj enhances these communications with “rich media” like video, audio and still photography. For example, video or audio clips of characters and events related to a particular story are provided to writers for their reference (as backstory). Writers (and the director) use these media as part of the email exchange, as attachments or otherwise delivering them to participants and readers. Finally, these rich media are incorporated with emials in a multimedia (CD-R) presentation of the completed story.
