Eligible Projects (consult guidelines for complete requirements)

Eligible projects are dramatic feature films that are:

• Not less than 75 minutes in length (approx. 80-120 pages).
• Intended for theatrical release.
• The producing entity must be a Canadian-owned and controlled independent production company and must own and control the property upon which the proposed film is based.

Eligible Applicants (consult guidelines for complete requirements)

• Of the producer, director and writer, all must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and all must be permanent residents of Canada. 
• All submissions are welcome, however, preference will be given to projects that name all three of the creative principals (writer, director, producer).
• Preference will be given to projects where the writer, director and producer have not individually or as a group made more than one dramatic feature film.
