CFC ACTORS CONSERVATORY – NOMINATION & SELECTION PROCESS
OVERVIEW OF NOMINATION AND SELECTION PROCESS:
- Applicants must be nominated by an agent, casting director, director, producer, artistic director, writer/playwright, or broadcast or production executive.
- The nominator must email the contact information of the actor they are nominating to:
- The CFC will follow-up with the actor via email and forward the application package.
- A selection committee comprised of industry professionals from across Canada and key program staff is involved in the review process.
- The CFC will set up in person auditions and interviews with short-listed applicants
- Shortlisted applicants will be notified by phone of audition and interview dates and times.
- An audition and interview mark the final stage of the selection process and is intended to clarify each applicant’s expectations and assist the committee in determining which candidates will best contribute to and benefit from the program’s design.
- If you are shortlisted, auditions usually take place by the first week in June, and you will be notified of acceptance by June 15th.
2012 FEES AND DATES
Application Deadline: May 4th, 2012 at 5pm EST Program Tuition: There is no tuition for the 2012 session Program Dates: July 30th, 2012 – February 15th, 2013
