2009 Participants

“This is the first class of the CFC’s Actors Conservatory and I wanted to thank our 8 actors for their patience and enthusiasm because while they were working through their  own learning curves so were we with the program. I was so taken by each actor’s individual talent, by their sheer desire to be the best they could be while taking advantage of all of the mentors, guests and opportunities offered in the Conservatory. Even in the short period of time I worked with them, I saw each actor grow exponentially in what I believe is one of the more important aspects of working in film and tv  - “getting the job” otherwise known as “the audition process”.  We watched their confidence and skills grow and I know that this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I commend them for taking a chance with us, their experience has helped to strengthen the Conservatory for years to come while establishing a strong legacy to follow. I only wish that I had had more time to spend with them but  Zoe, Michelle, Abena, Simon, Seamus, Sarah, Jesse and Jean Michel - I look forward to working with you all all in the not too distant future.”
