Babe Nation is a Toronto-based boutique indie production company that champions female and emerging voices behind and in front of the camera. Producers Katie Bird Nolan and Lindsay Tapscott specialize in the hands-on creative development and production of character-driven scripted content from a diverse slate of international filmmakers.

  • The Rest of Us Festival Premieres + News:
    • Toronto International Film Festival 2019, FIN Halifax International Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Santa Fe Film Festival, Stockholm Feminist Film Festival.
    • The Rest of Us is being distributed in the US by Gravitas Ventures, and hits cinemas on Feb. 14 2020, and is being distributed by levelFILM in Canada beginning March 13.
  • White Lie Festival Premieres + News:
    • Toronto International Film Festival 2019, Busan International Film Festival 2019, Festival du Nouveau Cinema 2019, Vancouver International Film Festival 2019, Miami International Film Festival 2020.
    • White Lie was named one of TIFF's Top 10 films, is repped by Playtime (Paris) for International Rights, and will be distributed in Canada in March by Level Film.
  • Babe Nation was named by Playback in their yearly 5 to Watch (2018), was nominated for the Emerging Producer Award from the CMPA (2019), and both Katie and Lindsay have taken part in numerous Producer labs and development incubators over the past few years.
