Biography

Meagan Bannock joined the CFC as Events Manager in 2014. As the primary lead on CFC Events, she produces CFC’s program events and revenue generating events, including the CFC Annual BBQ Fundraiser, the CFC Annual Gala & Auction, Garden Party, program showcases and any other special functions or events. In her role, Bannock liaises with corporate clients to coordinate and execute external corporate and stakeholder events.

Prior to joining the CFC, Bannock managed events for Toronto’s top cultural and horticultural organizations, including the Royal Conservatory of Music and Toronto Botanical Garden and also worked in communications for the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and Women in Film and Television. Bannock holds a diploma in Public Relations from Durham College as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies, Media & Culture from Brock University.
