Eileen Arandiga is the former Festival Director of the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto, a festival she was associated with for over 10 years in various capacities. She previously worked for the Toronto International Film Festival – Industry Programming and Services, and various arts organizations in Australia.
Arandiga has run film and video workshops for young women in Toronto, has sat on many festival juries and has been a guest speaker at festivals around the world. She has programmed shorts for the WSFF’s World of Shorts monthly screening series, Signals Festival in the UK, the Australian Canadian Film Festival in Sydney, Australia and a number of festivals in Europe and Canada. For four years Arandiga was Co-Director of OzFlix: Australian Film Weekend, an annual celebration of Australian film and video in Toronto and Vancouver. She sits on the board of directors for the ImagineNATIVE Film + Video Festival in Toronto. Arandiga is currently the Director of Operations & Special Projects at the Canadian Film Centre.
