Tanya Kelen thrives on managing highly complex cross-functioning teams in the development and rollout of innovative products that scale worldwide. She has a track record of success across distribution and financing of media content in television and digital content for major media networks and broadcasters. Kelen excels at building complex teams and partnerships with more than 20 years of experience in global business development, marketing and content production. A serial entrepreneur, and prior to getting behind Promena VR, Kelen founded her strategic consulting company, kelencontent, in 2008, after more than 15 years of success in developing, licensing, producing and executive producing content and digital platforms for global clients such as Disney, Discovery, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, among others. She has executive produced two network primetime documentaries, Hero Dogs of 9/11 for Discovery Networks/Animal Planet (Canada, U.S and International) and Mini Monsters of Amazonia (CBC Nature of Things/Discovery Science & ARTE France).Kelen also teaches media and technology courses and designed and delivered the first-ever distribution media courses for Ryerson’s RTA undergraduates from 2007 to 2011.
