CFC’s Marketplace Initiatives are designed to offer new career, profile building and content opportunities to Canadian creators. These initiatives are often focused on addressing key gaps within the screen based industry and supported/sponsored by key industry partners.

NETFLIX / CFC GLOBAL PROJECT

The Netflix/CFC Global Project is about creating opportunities and offering targeted support to a diverse group of Canadian creators as they work to showcase their talent and their narrative film and TV projects internationally.

THE WILDBRAIN EXPERIENCE

The WildBrain Experience integrates kids/tween/family skills development and content creation into CFC’s existing film, TV, music and acting programs, engaging more than 40 screen-based entertainment industry professionals a year, comprised of CFC residents and select CFC alumni, by introducing them to the family/kids market through in-depth workshops, bootcamps and practical exercises.

The DHX Experience

TELEFILM CANADA TALENT TO WATCH PROGRAM

CFC is an affiliate member of this initiative, and recommends and supports one low-budget feature project from CFC alumni annually to Telefilm for production.
