The Crow Below
Twenty-six-year-old Spencer lives a hard life. An Alberta oil fields worker, his days are an increasing spiral of drugs, alcohol and violence. To make matters worse, he has visions of a man-sized crow, who seems to exist only to point out his weaknesses and push him to make poor decisions. When he hits a breaking point, Spencer chooses to face what he’s been running from back home in Ontario. His mother is slowly dying and his sister, Annalise, has become a live-in caregiver for her. With Crow ever-present, Spencer is forced to right past wrongs and come to terms with the man he has become.
