School’s out for the holidays – and by that we mean CFC Features’ comedy ADVENTURES IN PUBLIC SCHOOL is coming to a home theatre near you. The film, which stars Daniel Doheny, Judy Greer, Russell Peters and Grace Park, will debut on Crave on Thursday, December 27.

ADVENTURES IN PUBLIC SCHOOL will first air on December 27 (9 p.m., Crave 1), with subsequent primetime airings including Sunday, December 30 (7:30 p.m., Crave 1). It will also be available to watch anytime on Crave On Demand.

Dubbed “the Canadian Lady Bird,” ADVENTURES IN PUBLIC SCHOOL follows a socially inept home school dropout (Doheny) who enrolls in public school to chase after a one-legged dream-girl (Siobhan Williams) while his mom/best friend (Greer) teaches him how to stage his own teenage rebellion. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2017, and was named one of Canada’s Top Ten films of that year. It had a limited engagement in Canadian theatres in spring 2018.

ADVENTURES IN PUBLIC SCHOOL was developed and financed for production by CFC Features. Co-writers Kyle Rideout and Josh Epstein received support in the script’s development from the Telefilm Canada Feature Comedy Exchange.
