IDEABOOST Cohort 5 Accelerator in Pictures: April-September 2016

What an exciting six months it's been for the six startups that were part of our latest IDEABOOST accelerator. IDEABOOST is the Toronto-based business accelerator and startup community for companies that are building the next generation of technology-based media and entertainment products, services and brands.
Friday, April 29: Day One of the accelerator journey. Against the backdrop of Downton Abbey (aka CFC headquarters), founders and mentors pause for a brief photo.
Friday, April 29: Mentor wind (ahem, whiplash) tunneling. Six startups come face-to-face with experts and advisors. Coffee is a necessity.
Friday, June 10: Customer validation day. Startups receive feedback from targeted customer segments and more than 20 representatives of publishing, advertising and broadcast verticals.
Friday, July 8: Michael Hyatt, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of BlueCat, shares his top tips for success. Babies and grit come up a lot.
Friday, July 10: There are no starving startups on our watch.
Friday, August 12: Investment advice without jeopardizing the deal. Ryerson Futures, Real Ventures, Hello Ventures, Relay Ventures and OMERS spend a day digging into each investment thesis.
Wednesday, September 27: Public demo day. Six startups make their final accelerator pitch presentation at Corus Quay.
Wednesday, September 27: One door closes and another opens. Big Terminal, Eigenuity Inc., NAVI, PinchVR, Repable and SAM take one giant leap into the IDEABOOST portfolio.
