Join Dennis Heaton for a free writing workshop and learn more about the CFC's CBC Prime Time Television Program!
FROM THE STORY ROOM TO THE PAGE WORKSHOP
Writer and CFC Alumnus Dennis Heaton (“Call Me Fitz”, “jPod”, “Blood Ties”) will lead a workshop on writing for television. Using the hit HBO Canada series “Call Me Fitz” as a backdrop, Dennis will walk participants through the process of getting an episode of the series on the air – from collaboration and brainstorming in the story room, beatsheets, outlines and script drafts.
This workshop is offered by the CFC's CBC Prime Time Television Program.
If you'd like to attend this workshop, please send an email by 5pm on Monday, April 16 to program manager Valentina Puvtoska at firstname.lastname@example.org a couple of paragraphs about why you're interested in the CBC Prime Time Television Program and what you feel it could do for you, as well as a copy of your CV in PDF or Word format. Space is limited, but those selected to participate in this workshop will be notified via email.
