Sauveur started his career working in the French government, as an Associate for the Ministry of the Interior in 1978. Two years later, he joined the Élysée Palace as an Associate, Public Relations & Protocol.
Sauveur moved to Canada in 1985 and started his career at BNP Paribas Canada as the AVP, Marketing-Events, before becoming the Head of Brand and Communications and of Corporate Social Responsibility for Canada in 2009.
Since 2014, Sauveur is an active member of the Advisory Board of the National Centre for Dance Therapy of the Grands Ballets Canadiens. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the charitable organization Care Canada from 2011 to 2013.
In Canada, Sauveur graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal School of Management (ESG- UQÀM) in Administration Services.
