Michel Kandinsky was born in Warsaw, raised in Oklahoma City & Ottawa. After studying biology at McGill he pursued film at the prestigious Polish National Film School, then apprenticed under maverick filmmaker Lech Majewski. Writing & directing the short drama You know why led to directing the long format documentary Tracks for Polish TV. Michel has directed music videos and commercials, written for episodic television & produced for MTV. Now based in Toronto, he is developing several feature projects including POSITIVE KILL RATIO, a tense war-time drama set in Afghanistan and SOMETHING LIKE THE TRUTH a low-budget police thriller.
