Manik Perera Gunatilleke
Manik Gunatilleke is a designer and artist working with emerging technology for immersive spatial design. With an interest in exploring the manifestation of posthuman experiences, her current work explores the use of virtual reality as a design space for presenting embodied knowledge of cities. Manik has lived in seven countries, and dabbled in film, international development and communications - the mix of which influences her work today. More recently, she co-created ‘The Living Room’ exhibit with fellow OCADU students for the Royal Ontario Museum (2017), and the Back to the Future installation, co-created with Ilze Briede, at Fashion Art Toronto 2017.
