Peggy Zhou graduated with a ba in Creative Media, from City University of Hong Kong and has an ma in Art Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of Leicester, in the uk. Her six previous years of professional training have equipped her with a great knowledge of various digital technologies, new media, and museology concepts. While studying in the UK, she interned at The New Art Gallery Walsall as a Curatorial Assistant. She was tasked with selecting exhibits and writing the school trip notes for the new exhibition, Make Room — the sixth of a series of yearlong displays. The displays used contemporary works from The New Art Gallery Walsall’s Permanent Collections to make interventions within the Garman Ryan Collection’s themed rooms. Her first master’s thesis investigated how the use of mobile phones affected the experience when visiting museums and galleries.
