After studying film production at York University (BFA 2002) and film theory at Concordia University (MA 2005), Dylan began producing and directing his own independent short films. His work has ranged from stop-motion animation to documentary to narrative shorts.
His films have travelled to 40 international film festivals. His most recent film Record has been featured at 20 prestigious film festivals around the world – including screenings at the Toronto International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the British Film Institute. Dylan won Best Director (fiction) at the 2009 Yorkton Film Festival.
Dylan Reibling was named one of BlogTO's favourite Toronto filmmakers of 2010.
As a recent alumni of the Canadian Film Centre's Media Lab, Dylan is currently stretching his filmmaking skills into the world of digital development and interactive installation art.
