Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director, Partnerships & Events, and Events Manager, the Coordinator, Development & Event’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to Director, Partnerships & Events and Manager, Events
  • Train and support all incoming interns
  • Update and oversee CFC Volunteer Program alongside intern(s)
  • Assist on all CFC program-related, revenue generating and new events
  • Work alongside Director, Partnerships & Events to research and identify cash and in-kind sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist with creating proposals, presentations, campaign and stewardship materials for new and existing corporate donors
  • Assist with all marketing assets for CFC program-related and revenue generating events
  • Contribute to fulfillment of event sponsor benefits and deliverables
  • Assist with customizing and fulfilling corporate sponsor reports post-events
  • Prepare invoices and update A/R reporting for Development department
  • Support the Circle of Supporters (COS) Program’s advance screenings and events
  • Oversee all programs/departments invitations through our CRM database (Salesforce)
  • Administer the execution of tax receipt letters and receipts
  • Other activities as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Events Management
  • Event planning experience, preferably two to three years
  • Self-motivated and ability to set and achieve goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong verbal presentation, writing and marketing skills
  • Superior time management skills, multi-tasking abilities
  • Highly organized and detail oriented to manage event timelines and processes
  • A team player committed to ensuring the highest results
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar database), Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat would be an asset
